Before entering the BUD/S grinder, every student sees the words “Choose to Carry More” displayed overhead. It’s a reminder that even in training, especially in training you are expected to give more than you think you have.

This Sworn to Protect® NSW-inspired shirt represents the Navy SEAL 40% Rule: the idea that when your mind tells you you’re done, you’ve only tapped into about 40% of your true capacity. The remaining strength is unlocked by discipline, focus, and the decision to keep going.

“Choose To Carry More” is about pushing past perceived limits, physically and mentally, by taking ownership of your actions, controlling what you can, and redefining what you believe you’re capable of. It’s about accessing hidden reserves, embracing discomfort, and persevering when quitting feels easiest.
